CAD
All jewelries start from designing. With your concept of design, we can provide a manual design sketching and 3D CAD based on your requirement. Thanks to CAD technology, we can create the virtual jewelry figure which you can see every angle and detail of the product to see how your product will look exactly according to your imagine concept design.
3D Printing (Waxing)
From the design to master mold. 3D printing is highly recommend in this process, as it can produce high precision and accuracy wax mold, and then be casted to high quality mold. That mold will be the master mold for creating high quality jewelry product accordingly. Thanks to the technology, this process not only increase the quality of the jewelry product, but also decrease lead time and manual labor cost. Moreover, it can be reproduced anytime when needed.
Casting
Wax will be prepared from mold and then added to wax tree. Investment are filled and surrounded the tree in the flask. Once the investment are in the solid state, the wax is then melt by heating and liquid metal then be carefully poured into the mold. In this process, there are variety of techniques and methods to enhance the quality of casting, for example centrifugal casting, vacuum-assisted casting or pressure casting. Once the investment is already cooled, the casting is removed from the investment either by physical or chemical means. In each step of the process, there always have professional and skilled person to control the casting quality.
Filing/Polishing
After casting process, filing is one of the important process to shape and smoothen jewelry casting to meet a requirement. This process requires the experienced and skilled persons to accomplish filing process as this can enhance the jewelryquality. Polishing of jewelry is the process to enhance luster of the jewelry and make deflect-free surface. Jewelry polishing is a multistage process which start from rough polishing to fine polishing. Jewelry should be polished before setting gemstone because area under the stone should be properly polished as well since it also affect the brilliance of the gemstones.
Stone setting
Stone setting is essential process to attach gemstone to metal casting and to present the beauty of the gemstones. There are several types of setting ,for example prong, bezel, pave, etc., which also need skilled person to process to keep the gemstone safe when set to the casting.
Plating
Jewelry plating process is the step to enhance the luster or wear ability of each jewelry. This process is served for different purposes. It can be used to prevent metal corrosion, to improve wearability of jewelry and other purposes. Oraya can provide every metal base and various color in plating i.e. rhodium, black rhodium, palladium, silver (Yellow/Rose Gold/White), gold (Yellow/Rose Gold/White), etc. Oraya can also adjust thickness and percentage of the plating material as your request.
QC
Quality control is always applied in each and every production processes in according to international standard. Moreover, QC standard can be elevated as per each customer's requirement as well. With Oraya professional team, every single piece of customer’s product will be thoroughly checked to ensure that products delivered to each customer always have zero defective.
